PLAIN is the new black

Plain woven fabrics are often overlooked as the perfect compliment to any naturally beautiful décor. These types of fabrics are often given unflattering pseudonyms such as “basic or entry level” but with the right balance of subtle design and modern, trending colours, these fabrics can be the ultimate complement to any interior or exterior décor. Texstyle offer 3 such solutions all with unique qualities, and each ideal for a vast variety of applications.

Focus

The Focus Collection is the most comprehensive acrylic coated, polyester fabric on the market. With a total of 29 colours available in multiple widths up to 3,000mm, Focus is the complete plain woven range. The most recent renewal of Focus has seen the addition of 12 new colours matched to popular colours in the Dulux range, providing consumers the ultimate guide to matching the window coverings with the rest of the interior décor. Focus is available for both roller and vertical blinds as well as panel glides, and carries Texstyles comprehensive 5 year warranty.

Metroshade

The Metroshade Collection is the finest quality in plain woven fabrics, having the unique combination of a coating on the face of the fabric in a variety of 14 contemporary colours, whilst retaining a tactile appearance and soft touch of traditional textiles. Available in a range of matching light filtering options, Metroshade is perfect for roller and roman blinds, and will convey the feeling of warmth and comfort throughout the home or office

Kew

Our most recent addition to this market sector, the Kew Collection has been designed to offer the perfect in-between solution of those looking for a balance between the shinier acrylic look of Focus and the classical fabric appearance of Metroshade. Manufactured at 3000mm wide, Kew has a soft touch on the face, with an acrylic foam backing that is colour coated to match the face of the fabric.

Colour back coating is ideal for instances where a white back coating may create an unsightly appearance with the exterior of the building. Kew also has the unique colour Orca, which has an ivory colour on the face and a charcoal colour on the back. This offers the consumer the chance to have a light colour in the inside and a dark colour on the outside, especially suited to dark exterior buildings or to meet body corporate requirements.
